Hello, I'm a bat... I'm harmless... Please don't hurt me!!!...
The Story of Our Times:
·
Hello I'm a bat...
I don't suck your blood and I won't get tangled in your hair.
If I happen to enter your house, please don't hit me with bats or squash me out; it hurts a lot and on such occasions I'm very scared. It was an accident and I didn't mean to scare you.
If I land, I may not be able to get up and I need your help. Just grab a towel and pull me out carefully. I'll fly right away, I promise.
I feed on mosquitoes and many other insects.
Our houses are being demolished to build other buildings and we still have a few places to go. So if I'm flying in your space, turn off the lights and leave the outside light on with the door open, I'll be out shortly.

Oh, ~ "Double, Double, Toil And Trouble!!!"...
"Round about the cauldron go;
In the poison’d entrails throw.
Toad, that under cold stone
Days and nights has thirty-one
Swelter’d venom sleeping got,
Boil thou first i’ the charmed pot.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder’s fork and blind-worm’s sting,
Lizard’s leg and owlet’s wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
Scale of dragon, tooth of wolf,
Witches’ mummy, maw and gulf
Of the ravin’d salt-sea shark,
Root of hemlock digg’d i’ the dark,
Liver of blaspheming Jew,
Gall of goat, and slips of yew
Silver’d in the moon’s eclipse,
Nose of Turk and Tartar’s lips,
Finger of birth-strangled babe
Ditch-deliver’d by a drab,
Make the gruel thick and slab:
Add thereto a tiger’s chaudron,
For the ingredients of our cauldron.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
Cool it with a baboon’s blood,
Then the charm is firm and good."

Disney Villains 10 Most Evil Plans...
(I wasn't even mentioned because I showed my softer side when I nutured that pretty little scamp Aurora.) >>>

Disney's villains have the distinction of being some of the most recognizable characters in pop culture. These dastardly foes have captivated millions of moviegoers over the years and shocked and frightened them with their wicked deeds and memorable performances.
Iconic Disney villains have stayed in the minds of many fans who often considered them more popular than the heroes. A great antagonist is best characterized by their horrible acts or evil schemes, and the more wicked their plans are, the more the audience would draw into their alluring charms. These 10 Disney villains and their evil plans are ones for the history books of the studio — and the medium.
***Cruella de Vil — 'One Hundred And One Dalmatians' (1961)***
The eccentric and mean-spirited fashion designer Cruella de Vil (Betty Lou Gerson) devised a twisted idea to make her new fur coats made from the pelts of Dalmatian puppies. Using bribery and intimidation, she was determined to have as many puppies as necessary and even resorted to dognapping.
Cruella wanted to harm many innocent dogs and committed many more crimes just in the name of fashion. Though her plan didn't make much sense in the long run, it was still a cruel and unthinkably evil scheme that targeted lovable animals. Thankfully her attempts to make the coats were thwarted when all the puppies she and her accomplices captured eventually escaped. >>>
***Mother Gothel - 'Tangled' (2010)
Kidnapping children and using them for personal gain is one of the worst crimes anyone could commit. In Mother Gothel's (Donna Murphy) case, she has no problems imprisoning and psychologically tormenting an innocent princess with magical hair, so she can keep herself looking young and beautiful forever.
Gothel manipulated Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) into believing she was her mother and wanted to protect her from the outside world, but in actuality, she was using her as a tool for everlasting life. Eventually this terrible parent met her demise after Rapunzel's hair powers were severed, leaving Mother Gothel to rapidly age into dust. >>>
***The Coachman — 'Pinocchio' (1940)
The Coachman (Charles Judels) lured disobedient and spoiled young boys to a luxurious island, so they could live out their vices. Once on the island, however, he would turn these boys into donkeys to sell them into slavery for a profit.
This terrifying secondary antagonist was an obvious metaphor to teach young viewers not to trust strangers and understand the consequences of misbehaving. Unfortunately, The Coachman is one of the few Disney villains to go unpunished for his crimes, but the titular hero Pinocchio (Dickie Jones) did manage to escape his clutches.
>>>
***Ursula — 'The Little Mermaid' (1989)
Banished from the city of Atlantis for using dark magic, Ursula (Pat Carroll) vowed vengeance against King Triton (Kenneth Mars) by manipulating his daughter Ariel (Jodi Benson) into signing a magical contract that she could then hold against her. Using Ariel as leverage, Ursula sought to usurp Triton's throne and rule over the ocean as an all-powerful god.
Ursula's quest for power saw her destroying the lives of many innocent sea creatures, and she only saw those around her as tools needed to achieve her objectives. With Triton's magical staff by her side, she was ready to take out her wrath on the seven seas but was defeated at the last minute when Ariel's true love Eric (Christopher Daniel Barnes) impaled her with a ship mast, causing her to fall into the dark watery depths. >>>
***Jafar — 'Aladdin' (1992)
The evil sorcerer Jafar (Jonathan Freeman) set his eyes on taking over the Sultan's (Douglas Seale) throne to rule over the land of Agrabah with an iron fist. To achieve this goal, he needed more magical strength and sought to manipulate a likable street kid named Aladdin (Scott Weinger) to retrieve a powerful genie lamp.
Jafar was corrupted by his desire to have all the power and control in the world. His plan almost proved successful in the climax, as Aladdin convinced him to use the Genie's (Robin Williams) wish to become an all-powerful genie himself. However, it was all a trick to burden Jafar with the negative aspects of being a genie and punishing him for an eternity in a small, cramped genie lamp. >>>
***Dr. Facilier — 'The Princess and the Frog' (2009)
Doctor Facilier (Keith David) gambled away his soul to evil spirits for magical abilities to manipulate and swindle his wealthy victims out of their fortunes. Soon his greed led to his monstrous plans to rule over the city of New Orleans and sacrifice the town's innocent lives to repay his debts to the dark forces that granted his powers.
Facilier schemed and abused his dark magical powers, and his need to become rich would have resulted in the deaths of an entire town. His overconfidence in his abilities was his undoing in the end, however, as the voodoo trinket connecting to his soul debt was destroyed by the heroine Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), resulting in Facilier's satisfying demise as he was violently dragged into the underworld by his "friends" on the other side. >>>
***Hades — 'Hercules' (1997)
The wise-cracking, short-tempered immortal Hades (James Woods) felt resentful that his brother Zeus (Rip Torn) and the other gods on Mt. Olympus left him in command of the dark and depressing underworld. Wanting Olympus all to himself, he devised a devious plan to send titans to overthrow his brother's kingdom.
Hades knew that the only man standing in the way of his hostile takeover was his powerful but mortal nephew Hercules (Tate Donovan), with whom the two shared a fierce rivalry. However, his attempts to kill his nemesis were futile in the end as the human Hercules eventually regained his immortality after committing a selfless act and condemning Hades to a brutal punishment by punching him into the agonizing River of Death. >>>
***The Horned King — 'The Black Cauldron' (1985)
The Horned King (John Hurt) was a force of pure evil and destruction who sought to create mayhem and death wherever he went. He wanted to take possession of the magical Black Cauldron to unleash an undead army and take over the world.
The Horned King wanted to rule over everything, inflict as much pain and death as possible, and do so in the most cruel ways imaginable. Fortunately, his underestimation of the Black Cauldron's powers led to his ultimate demise, as it eventually backfired on him and dragged the terrifying Horned King into the Cauldron and destroyed him. >>>
***Scar — 'The Lion King' (1994)
The envious lion Scar (Jeremy Irons) hated that his respected brother Mufasa (James Earl Jones) was king over the pride lands and was one day going to give his rule over to his son Simba (Jonathan Taylor Thomas). Wanting the throne instead, Scar shockingly murdered Mufasa and sent his nephew into exile, so he could reign over the kingdom to benefit himself and his hyena minions.
Scar's plan was successful for many years during Simba's absence. He had everything he'd ever wanted, but as a result of his actions, the pride lands fell into chaos and desolation. When Simba finally returned to claim his birthright, Scar's selfishness proved his undoing as he tried to save himself from punishment by blaming the hyenas, who, in turn, devoured him for his betrayal. >>>
***Judge Claude Frollo — 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' (1996)
Judge Claude Frollo (Tony Jay) delusionally believed that he was a righteous man destined to rid the world of sin. However, in reality, he was the most sinful of all as he sought to wipe out Paris' innocent ethnic populations through brutal torture and executions.
There was no limit to Frollo's cruelty and sadistic nature as he went about ridding the city of people he believed deserved to be destroyed. He also harbored an unhealthy lust for the beautiful Romani dancer Esmeralda (Demi Moore), whom he wanted all to himself. Eventually, this monstrous villain met his end on the top of Notre Dame, where his sins culminated in him falling to his death into a fiery blaze in the streets below.
The Scariest Disney Villians...
(You DO see who is right in the MIDDLE of the pic, don't you???... Haaaaaaaaaa!!!... My GLORIOUS self!!!) >>>
While Disney is well known for their heroic do-gooders, their villains have become just as iconic and beloved. Each of Disney's villains has unique traits that make them terrifying to viewers of all ages, but only a few can be seen as the scariest. These villains will stop at nothing to get what they want, even if it means crossing lines no other villain would. >>>
Disney's scariest villains often have magical powers that they use to take on their heroes, while others are so manipulative it is easy to see how the heroes fall for their tricks. No matter how scary, there is something about Disney villains that people love.>>>
***(Updated by Robert Vaux on July 12, 2024: Disney is known for its iconic villains, many of whom are truly terrifying characters despite appearing in children's films. These are some of the scariest and most fear-inducing animated villains of all time. This article has been expanded to include five new members of Disney's extremely large rogues gallery and the formatting has been updated to meet current CBR guidelines.) >>>
***The Headless Horseman*** is a Terrifying Mirage
1949
Washington Irving's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is essentially the story of a prank, as Brom Bones runs his bookish rival Ichabod Crane out of town by impersonating the local ghost. Disney's classic adaptation of the story doesn't alter those details, but it expertly embellishes the terror of its nonexistent specter. The build-up is key, as the film adopts Ichabod's subjective viewpoint on his ride home after an evening of listening to Bones' spooky stories.
That plays out in numerous details, from frogs and crickets that seem to call out Ichabod's name to clouds that take the form of massive hands blocking out the moon. The whole of nature seems hell-bent on claiming the impressionable schoolteacher. The Horseman himself is sufficiently frightening — credit Bones with going all-in on his scare tactics — but after the way the movie prepares his entrance, it could have been Bambi, and it would still be terrifying. >>>
Zootopia
2016
Zootopia is ultimately a story about prejudice and how it can be exploited for political power. Accordingly, it involves something of a surprise villain, with several possible red herrings disguising the sweet little sheep plotting a power grab in the background. ***Assistant Mayor Bellwether*** spends most of the movie carrying water for her attention-getting boss Mayor Lionheart. She harbors a secret hatred of the city's predators and manipulates public perception against them as a way of taking control.
Like Gaston, her demagoguery is the real terror, far more than her meek and snuggly exterior. Her political cynicism is unsettling enough — demonizing a minority for expediency's sake — but it hides a fanatic's fervor underneath that proves even more frightening. Somewhere in there, she actually believes the hate she preaches, and comes within one unlikely fox/bunny partnership of putting it into practice on a citywide scale.
>>>
The Little Mermaid
1989
***Ursula*** is one of the most infamous of Disney's classic villains and one with whom many viewers sympathize. Over the years, some have pointed to Ursula's honesty as a virtue above certain other villains. Even so, one shouldn't forget the true horrors that the sea witch brings to the fore.
As many fans as Ursula may have noticed, she is far from someone worth admiring. The sea witch keeps tortured souls in her underwater den, where they are left without sunlight, food, or any chance of escape. Moreover, when in her colossal monster form, Ursula is one of the most physically terrifying Disney villains of all time.
>>>
Aladdin
1992
***Jafar*** may not be the most physically imposing villain of the Disney Renaissance era, but he certainly gives audiences plenty of reasons to fear him. Not only is Jafar politically powerful as the Sultan's grand vizier, but he is also a mighty sorcerer capable of destroying his enemies in a variety of horrific ways.
Jafar truly enters his most terrifying phase after obtaining the Genie in the Lamp, who makes him the most powerful sorcerer in the world. Jafar's displays of power then include turning himself into a giant serpent, trapping Jasmine in a colossal hourglass, and making the Sultan bow down before him. As terrifying as this is, most of these events occur at the end of Aladdin, whereas other Disney villains are more consistently terrifying.
>>>
The Lion King
1994
The Lion King's ***Scar*** is one of the best villains from Disney's Renaissance Era. In a truly Shakespearean move, Scar orchestrates the tragic death of his brother Mufasa, the king of the Pridelands, and seizes power for himself after intimidating Simba, the heir to the throne, into abandoning the Pridelands.
Scar may not be the physically strongest lion in the Pridelands, but his strategic mind and army of hyenas make him a threat to all of his enemies. Moreover, his dark and sinister design is certainly enough to keep viewers uneasy throughout the film.
>>>
***Shere Khan*** Is A Living Terror
>>>
The Jungle Book
1967
The Jungle Book boasts one of Disney's most underrated villains in Shere Khan, a Bengal tiger who spends much of the film hunting down a young child named Mowgli. Shere Kahn is the undisputed leader in the jungle, where all the other animals fear him greatly.
Not only is Shere Khan physically terrifying, but he is also a truly dastardly and wicked individual. He is more than willing to hunt down and kill a child simply because he hates humans. >>>
Hercules
1997
***Hades*** may be one of Disney's funniest villains, but he is certainly not to be underestimated. The Greek god of the underworld is ruthless, unmerciful, and willing to destroy anything and anyone that gets in the way of his plans. In trying to kill Hercules, Hades proves exactly why humans are right to fear him.
Hades' most horrific trait isn't his fiery visage, his demonic henchmen, or even his immense power, but rather his collection of dead souls in the Underworld. Hades savors the pained cries of the deceased, making him one of the most despicable villains in the Disney canon.
>>>
Beauty and the Beast
1991
Beauty and the Beast's ***Gaston*** hides his evil behind a handsome face, which the film further compounds by playing him for laughs. His subsequent appearances in projects like the House of Mouse TV series similarly uses him for comic relief. Beneath all that, however, lies a truly rotten soul: cruel, narcissistic, and never thinking of anyone but himself.
Gaston veers from the simply unsettling to the truly terrifying in the third act, when he raises an angry mob to storm the Beast's castle. The villagers have idolized him as a hero all his life, enabling his abuses and allowing him to control them with disturbing ease. It demonstrates how charismatic demagogues can infect others with their hate, which transforms him from a self-important buffoon to a homicidal monster in one fell swoop.
>>>
The Nightmare Before Christmas
1993
The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of Disney's darker movies with an even darker villain. Besides the entire population of Halloweentown avoiding ***Oogie Boogie***, the film's main antagonist has devious motives. Oogie Boogie wants to do more than eliminate Sandy Claws because Jack wants him. He wants to eat him.
Oogie Boogie explains all this in his song as he tortures Sandy Claws and brags about how evil he is. In addition to this, Oogie Boogie is full of creepy bugs that appear in his mouth. Even though he has one of the darkest deaths of any Disney villain, Oogie Boogie is the stuff of nightmares.
>>>
Mulan
1998
***Shan Yu*** doesn't have much screen time in Mulan, but he is still considered one of the scariest Disney villains. As shown in the final battle at the Emperor's Palace, Shan Yu is incredibly strong and skilled with weapons. Shan Yu is a ruthless villain who is not above killing children and taunting the Emperor's army with items from those he has killed.
Shan Yu has no motivation beyond taking over as much land as possible and wiping out those who stand in his way. Shan Yu has a large build, so he towers over everyone around him, making him even more intimidating. >>>
Moana
Moana managed to capture the hearts and minds of many viewers. Yet, Maui's backstory makes this hit movie just that little bit more emotional.
Before transforming into the giving and beautiful Te Fiti, ***Te KÄ*** is a destructive lava monster that can cross land masses in seconds to destroy her target. One of Te KÄ's defining traits is the rage that motivates her and how she will stop at nothing to protect herself.
Te KÄ seems like an undefeatable villain as she can not communicate that she needs her heart to heal. This makes her even scarier, as her screams of pain are interrupted by ones of terror. Even though she is only seen as evil because she is misunderstood, Te KÄ is still frightening.
>>>
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
1996
Even though he is an underrated Disney villain, ***Claude Frollo*** is one of the scariest to ever appear in a Disney movie. As the villain of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Claude Frollo is especially cruel to those he does not seem worthy of his mercy or fit his standards of what society should be. Frollo shows no regard for human life outside his own and will stop at nothing to keep France the way he wants.
Frollo also forces himself on Esmerelda, using threats to try and coerce her into being his own. No other Disney villain has done this, making him especially scary and disturbing. However, perhaps the most terrifying of Frollo's attributes is just how grounded a character he is. His villainy could easily exist in the real world, making the terror behind his actions all the more appalling.
>>>
Wall-E
2008
AUTO is supposed to be the helpful AI system that controls the spaceship the inhabitants of Earth fly on while Wall-E makes Earth safe again. But ***AUTO*** turns on her humans and uses her intelligence for evil. What makes AUTO so scary is that she resembles the technology that many people use in their homes in real life.
While the concept of evil robots taking over and trying to destroy human life isn't new, it doesn't take away from the fact that robots can be scary. AUTO herself is made even more frightening when she is shown using hidden weapons.
>>>
Tangled
2010
Mothers are supposed to be caring and nurturing characters, but in Disney, even mothers can be villains spurred on by nefarious motivations. ***Mother Gothel*** is supposed to be Rapunzel's caretaker, but she only cares for the girl as long as her hair is magical and benefits her. As her captor, Mother Gothel shows no love to Rapunzel despite her desire to please her mother.
Gothel's cold demeanor is frightening as viewers would expect her to have some kind feelings for Rapunzel, but even at the movie's end, she has none. Even though she has one of the best Disney songs sung by a villain, Mother Gothel is so heartless she is scary.
>>>
The Black Cauldron
1985
The Black Cauldron is one of Disney's most overlooked movies, even though ***The Horned King*** is one of the scariest villains to terrorize a Disney movie. The Horned King wants to raise an army that can not be conquered to rule the world in darkness and evil.
Unlike other villains, The Horned King succeeds in raising his army and wreaks havoc on the rest of the world. Even though he is defeated in the end, The Horned King is still terrifying, and his glowing eyes haunt the dreams of the most hardened Disney villains' fans.
>>>
Pocahontas
1995
***Governor Ratcliffe*** isn't scary because he possesses magical powers. He is scary because he represents real people in history with the same relentless personality and motivations while having no regard for those living on the land he intended to colonize.
Pocahontas is no longer seen as a heartwarming tale about two people forbidden to love one another coming together, but as a rewritten history of North America. That being said, Governor Ratcliffe is no longer seen as the fumbling villain who only wants gold but as a genuinely evil person with no regard for human life.
>>>
Pinocchio
1940
Pinocchio features a diverse array of villains rather than one single adversary. ***Monstro the Whale*** is the centerpiece of the finale and is usually cited as the movie's big bad, but he shares that role with ***Stromboli*** the puppeteer, Honest John the Fox, and Gideon the Cat, among others. All of them possess a flair for the theatrical that obscures the most terrifying of the lot: the Coachman who rules Pleasure Island and lures boys in to be transformed into donkeys.
Though deceitful, he makes only the barest pretense of hiding his true nature. He trusts that the allure of his poisoned amusement park is enough to get his victims onboard, and he's proven right every time. The truth comes after the boys' nightmarish transformation, with one of them crying out for his mother while the Coachman happily sells them all to the salt mines. It makes him an eerily accurate stand-in for any real-world adult who exploits children for money.
>>>
Fantasia
1940
N/A
***Chernabog*** is one of the highest-ranking villains regarding raw power, but that isn't the only thing that makes him scary. Chernabog is a creature unlike any other in Disney. Besides his size, Chernabog has some of the most terrifying features, from his long nails and giant horns that make him look like the devil.
Chernabog is also the only Disney villain who releases demons into the mortal world because he can, which further exemplifies this villain's sheer power. Unlike other villains, Chernabog isn't eliminated; he goes back into the mountains when the Witches' Sabbath is over and rests before the next time he can emerge.
>>>
One Hundred and One Dalmatians
1961
Like Maleficent, ***Cruella de Vil*** has undergone an improvement in her image lately. Emma Stone's well-received version of the character is portrayed as far more antihero than villain, arrayed against far nastier figures than her and simply doing what she needs to in order to survive. That can obscure her earlier — far more unhinged — versions, which include Glenn Close's live-action take on the character as well as her original animated incarnation. Of the three, the animated version is easily the scariest.
Cruella de Vil's terror starts with the simple fact that she wants to turn puppies into a fur coat, which speaks to a deeply psychotic mind barely hidden beneath the veneer of civility. She can't get her hands on the animals fast enough, and as her canine prey proves increasingly elusive, she grows increasingly fixated on her goal. Rarely has a Disney baddie been so terrifyingly single-minded, or elicited such audience relief when their plans finally come undone.
>>>
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
1937
***Lucille La Verne***
The Evil Queen is Disney's first villain in an animated feature film, and even after 86 years, she remains one of Disney's scariest villains. As the first stepmother with bad intentions, The Evil Queen shows viewers that those supposed to love the main character can't always be trusted, which became a trend for other Disney films.
The Evil Queen becomes scarier when she makes her magic powers known and shows how easily she can change her appearance. As both The Hag and The Evil Queen, this villain captivates viewers with her commanding voice and beauty. However, as someone who can easily manipulate people, The Evil Queen is just as frightening as many of Disney's later villains.

Voodoo Dolls Get Such A Bad Rap...
The term Voodoo doll commonly refers to an effigy that is typically used for the insertion of pins. Such practices are found in various forms in the magical traditions of many cultures around the world.
Despite its name, the dolls are not prominent in Haitian Vodou and not used in Louisiana Voodoo.
The practice has been denounced and declared irrelevant to Voodoo religion by those in High Priesthood of Louisiana Voodoo. >>>

20th-century link with Voodoo...
The link between this magical practice and Voodoo was established through the presentation of the latter in Western popular culture, enduring the first half of the 20th century. In this, the myth of this magical practice being closely linked to Voodoo and Vodou was promoted as part of the wider negative depictions of blacks and Afro-Caribbean religious practices in the United States. In John Houston Craige's 1933 book Black Bagdad: The Arabian Nights Adventures of a Marine Captain in Hatian Vodou such as Victor Halperin's 1932 White Zombie and Jacques Tourneur’s 1943 I Walked with a Zombie. Voodoo dolls are also iti, he described a Haitian prisoner sticking pins into an effigy to induce illness. Its use also appeared in film representations of Haifeatured in one episode of The Woody Woodpecker Show (1961), as well as in the British musical Lisztomania (1975) and the films Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), The Witches of Eastwick (1987) Child's Play (1988) and Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (1998).
By the early 21st century, the image of the voodoo doll had become particularly pervasive. It had become a novelty item available for purchase, with examples being provided in vending machines in British shopping centres, and an article on "How to Make a Voodoo Doll" being included on WikiHow. Voodoo dolls were also featured in the 2009 animated Disney movie The Princess and the Frog, as well as the 2011 live-action Disney movie Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
In 2020, Louisiana Voodoo High Priest Robi Gilmore stated, "It blows my mind that people still believe Voodoo dolls are relevant to Voudon religion. Hollywood really did us a number. We do not stab pins in dolls to hurt people; we don't take your hair and make a doll, and worship the devil with it, and ask the devil to give us black magic to get our revenge on you. It is not done, it won't be done, and it never will exist for us." ~ Wikpedia.

Foul King Stephan was a real @ss_o_e...
You all KNOW he he betrayed me, when I gave my sweet little young heart to him, when we were youths, when he chopped my beautiful wings off... Then, he pretended to be a good guy, marrying Vivian, Aurora's mother... He arranged the marriage of those two kids, Aurora and Phillip, when they were only ittle stinkers. ~ far too young to have anything to say about it. And, then, he insulted me by not inviting me to the festivities for his infant daughter. Then, he sent the baby Aurora away to live with those three flakey, fussy old maid faeries...
Well, who CARES???...
